How we look after your records.

Your fleet is private

Your records are only visible to the people you invite, with the role you give them. Access is checked on our servers on every request, and this is tested automatically before every update.

Signing in

Passwords are stored in hashed form, never as plain text. Two-step verification is available on every account, and sensitive actions ask you to confirm your password again.

Your files

Documents and photos are private to your fleet and are not publicly accessible. Location data is removed from photos when you upload them.

Encryption and payments

All connections are encrypted. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store card numbers.

Backups

Your data is backed up regularly, encrypted, and we test that it can be restored.

Your control

You can download a copy of your data or delete your account at any time from My account.

Reporting a security concern

If you think you've found a security problem, please email info@thefleettracker.co.uk with "Security" in the subject. Please don't access other people's data or disrupt the service. We aim to reply within 3 working days.
